Okay....dragging my question forward from a couple of pages back:
Name the various play areas in the WDW theme parks.
Notice the words "theme parks"...I put those in there to avoid the water parks and resorts. I'm in enough trouble with the PG Semantics Police without going outside of the parks today!!
I'm looking for running around, climbing, jumping kind of play areas.
Jwill....sorry, but the diving suit at Living Seas isn't a play area. I'd normally give you this one, but too many people are watching!
lacool....I don't know what Global Neighborhood at Epcot is, so I can't really tell if that's a play area. My guess is that it's not, but I'll listen to any appeals of that decision.
Higgs.....no, the coin-operated boats don't qualify as play areas....but I'll have to give you the misting stations throughout the parks since I've seen a lot of kids running and playing in them.
And Higgs....I debated about the play area in Toontown and I'm going to say that there is not another play area there that I'm aware of....though Minnie's Country House is kind of a play area. But not under the definition I gave the PGSP for this question...sorry.
So we've got the following play areas:
Boneyard at AK (Pixie)
HISTKids at MGM (Pixie)
Donald's Boat at MK (MBabe)
Play fountains at EPCOT (Carpediz)
The ship at NORWAY (Carpediz)
The drums at the AFRICAN SPOT in EPCOT (I don't know this one, but it "sounds" good ....Carpediz)
All of the Baby care centers have play areas (Well, okay...I'll give you this one so the Semantics Police don't haul me off!...Carpediz)
Tom sawyer Island (Carpe)
Splash Mountain Briar Patch (Higgs)
Various misting stations (Higgs)
I can think of one other area that I'm defining as a play area.
