Granny... St George is the patron Saint of soldiers :)

lacool...it is indeed St. George in that plaza. He might be the patron saint of England, but I was looking for something a little more generic.

lacool......here's an AAQ card for the St. George part.....the second part is bonus and the timely part of the question.

OK…now being serious…is he the patron saint of soldiers??

Yep....as we stand on the brink of war, I thought that was an appropriate, though sobering, question.

Pirate....first round of German brew is on me. Anyone else?

And Miss Jas....that's a lot of Park Attraction trivia there!

Edit note: Oops...I forgot to hand out AAQ cards to MBabe, Higgs and Pirate (since he is the patron saint of scouts too!)

WOW Jas - what a GREAT link!! Thanks for that story, but wouldn't that almost classify Bonnie Appetit as *gasp* - a Disney exhibitionist? :teeth:

"Not that there's anything wrong with that..."

Thanks Jas...great link!

As I take a chance at getting ridiculed for asking a possibly obvious question but here goes...

Who is Jim Hill?

Madonna, I think that would. I'm sure she's not the only one. :teeth:

Pirate... This is an unadulterated guess.... Toluca Legs Turkey Company in MGM?

The Pirate leading the pub crawl once again... this calls for a Party! ;)... 71-71 oz. Whiparitas for the Pirate :p

:smooth:

Jas... Nice to see you, great article. Thanks :)

In the meantime I've got AAQ cards stacking up ...

Every WDW resort has one except for the Wilderness Lodge. What is it?

Hugs to Granny for some very kind and comforting words.

lacool....oh, I really should know this one....Wilderness Lodge is our favorite!!!

I'll have to guess.....uh.....um.....food court?

Oh, that is lame! I should know this!!! Think....think....

a AAQ card to lacool...Yes it's Rosie's. Great job!!

MBabe...Let's dust off the ol' Gold Card and make this an all-night PC...Pixie says to have fun! She will be joining us soon!! :)

Okay, I have to be honest here and say I got this question from a secondary source, and have never been to WL myself, so all of the answers given so far may well be true...however, not what I had in mind. I think the word "one" might be misleading. I'd like to rephrase ...

Every resort has them except WL. What are they ?

Is there really no pool at WL? No way I'll talk the kids into that one!

Aarrgghhh....this WL question is killing me!!

There is a very nice pool there....fed from a creek that starts out as a bubbling spring in the WL lobby! And a video arcade too.

Is it a health room? (That's over at Villas at Wilderness Lodge)

Is it a pool-side bar?

You know me...always looking for a new place to take the pub crawl.

:jester:

Pirate Mickey,
I'm having trouble finding a centralized list of WDW's pool-bars (I can't believe no one has published one), so I can't give a definitive no, but again, not what I had in mind.

WL has a very nice pool bar as well. lacool....I've got to say uncle. I've no idea.

Pirate...as long as we're at WL, how about starting with a drink at the Territory Lounge? Great wine list....me, I'm happy with my Bud!

How about a bus to MK?

Granny...I'm with you....Pixie is the wino..:)

Pirate...I thought about a bus to MK too, but the monorail resorts don't have one either!

And no way are we going to let you call Pix a wino here....just because she enjoys a little sip now and again!!:p
