Parks Game! Part 4: Let's Play Some More!!

Well. I think we are way way overdue for a shotgun answer. So I'm going to take out the muzzle loader and shoot.

MBabe, I wouldn't tell your doctor that. He may put you on anti-halucinagin(sp?) drugs. I dont think people understand the CC and its magical properties. :p

Carpe'.... No, none of the above... Nice hidden mickey you made with that shotgun blast though :p

:smooth:

Good point on the Doctor thingy Carpe'.... I have a feeling I'm gonna be in trouble

MBabe, yes he asks for his guitar, but I was going to say I wanted the full description and I see that Kim has it. Yes, he does ask Chris for his Black Les Paul (Bonus for knowing it was Chris. That was going to be my next question!). So a musical AAQ to Kim and an honorable mention to MBabe.

As for "Chris," you're right, they don't have an actual cast member portraying the roll. I know that was probably an easy cost to cut and if you'd never seen the original way the pre-show ran you wouldn't notice it. But I like the authenticity of having Joe ask for his Les Paul and then a cast member walking into the studio and retrieving a guitar. Cost cutting rears its ugly head again.

Mickeybabe >>> "In what WDW attraction can you find 5 lava lamps?"

Ha! Funny we've got 2 questions ... and one is the answer for the other!! I won't answer, though. I've gotta leave town for the weekend in a few hours.

C'D == try one of your questions to answer the other question.:)

Good morning everyone!

MBabe...get back in your hammock :)

Anyway...really busy here...but I needed to stop by the CC and say hi :D

BTW..are the lava lamps in the preshow of Rock n' Roller Coaster???

OK gotta run! See ya later!

Sandy slides into the CC and brushes of mounds of snow.

Carpe - Bucky is part of the answer, but what Fuller vehicle did the term come from? I'm looking for the specific reference.

I'm a little lost...do we have an open question?

gometros

By vehicle, do you mean Buckminster Fuller's book? I think it's called "Operating our Spaceship Earth" - or somethign to that note.... Fuller was calling the Earth a spaceship in his book

I'm with Higgs - are there any open questions?

:bounce: Higgs..... Yes, the lava lamps .... all five... are in the RnRc preshow studio :p......

AAQ card to Higgs.... batter up, we need a question ;)

:smooth:

Oh, and yes Higgs...I am returning to my hammock as directed :).... Just back from the doctor... I need to be a better patient... I'll have to work on that ;)

Unlike our friend MBabe, I'm not sure that the SSE question has been put to bed. How about this:

"spaceshipEARTH (sE) is a Web-based initiative designed to catalyze awareness and action towards realizing humanity's options for success."

or this

"Buckminster Fuller coined the term Spaceship Earth almost 50 years ago to help us see our world as a magnificent life-sustaining system, requiring the cooperation of the entire crew - everyone on Earth - in order to thrive."

Lyon_King - I'm feeling generous today. That's close enough. The exact title of the book is An Operating Manual for Spaceship Earth. A geodesic shaped AAQ to you for that answer.

Wow!! I go away for a little trip to MCO and they shut down another thread on me. You guys sure burn the bandwidth.
Once I fully recover from the trip, I have some new questions for all from WDW. Hope to be recovered by Sunday.

Welcome home Dave:wave:

I am going to turn in an AAQ and toss out a question ... and try to recover from my last shoveling and plowiing of the day;)

When did the Electric Water Parade Debut? Bonus question: What was the event?

MBabe do you need me to fluff those pillows, pour you some magical water, secure you a Dole Whip, find your red Verssace shoes?

DAVE!! Glad you found us!!:)

DJen...the electric water parade debuted Oct. 1, 1971....and the occasion was the grand opening of WDW!!! :)

I hate snow, I hate snow, I hate snow....

Hi Dave, glad you found us!!

(Note to self...add Dave to PM notification list!)

And in honor of Dave, here's a numbers question: :p

In Splash Mountain, how many audio-animatronic characters are there on the showboat in the "finale"?

Higgsi you sounded so confident that I hate to do this buddy;)

You have the right month and year ... not the right date or the bonus question.

Granny are there 71 audio-animatronics?

ooh, that's my favorite ride but I'm not sure of the answer. If I was at home I could pull out a picture. I'll guess 14. Love those gospel birds!

Jen....was the date October 25, 1971?? That's the date WDW was officially dedicated.

And...um....71 is not the correct answer for Splash Mountain AA's.:)

I'll guess Oct 26, 1971 for the water parade. And it was created as a "salute to all nations, but mostly America." Oh, wait... that's the finale in MuppetVision. :p
