While we're waiting for LisaMaz, I have an AAQ to dust off.

How does the Maint Street Cinema differ from the way it used to be back when MK first opened?

And for a bonus,

How was the mannequin that used to sit in the ticket window connected to Walt Disney?

Main Street Cinema is now....just another shop...WAS set up like an ACTUAL cinema...with a ticket booth, blond ticket seller and showed Old Mickey cartoons continuously...now you can see them in a small theater in the back of Exposition Hall...

As to the connection, I haven't a clue!

Hi Sandy!

:cheer2: :wizard: :thumbsup2

It used to be an actual attraction and it used to require a B ticket (later it dropped down to an A ticket.) Multiple screens showed films such as Steamboat Willie and Mickey's Polo Team (although this color film was tinted to a sepia tone). For many years, there was a mannequin in the ticket window whose cast member name tag said she came from Marceline, Missouri. Disney fans know that this is the town Walt Disney lived in when he was a young boy.
Around 1998, the theater became a gift shop. The store still has one screen inside that has featured everything from Laugh-O-Grams to footage of Disney theme parks from around the world.

Someone has been using the internet :)

You're both correct. The Main Street Cinema used to be an actual attraction that required a B ticket, later changed to an A ticket.

Mel and Ricky both earn AAQs for coming up with the correct answer.

Hi Mel! :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

Which western hero, who was portrayed in several episodes of the Disney television show in the late 1950s, acts as the trail boss to frontierland?
