WDWthePlaceToBe - Yes, there are benches on the porch of the ToT up against the short walls overlooking the gardens in the que area.

.....at AK when you come to the first fork in the road (right to Dinoland, left to Camp Minnie Mickey, run like hell straight ahead and to the left to the safari thing) there are shops on either side of you. Both have wrap around "porches", (you can a charicature done on the porch of the store to your right as you turn toward Dinoland) and on those porches are benches and chairs where guests can sit and melt! You were close enough WDWthePlaceToBe.

Here's the final rundown:

Town Hall......Spectro
Toon Town.....KSDave
HoP.....WDW
Frontierland.....Mlcar
Swiss Family Treehouse......Spectro
Yankee Trader.....DisneyJen
LT Tavern....KSDave
AuntPolly's......WDW
Tony's Town Square.....Mykelogan
ToT.....WDW
AK shops.....WDW
UK pavillion.....WDW
Japan pavillion.....Spectro

A warm and comfortable AAQ card goes to each (don't put your hands underneath, there could be gum! :teeth: ).

Good morning!

Wow, good job amandadaddy on keeping track on all those, and I especially enjoyed the trip thru the park :earsgirl: ...okay, here's my question...

What town is Main Street USA loosely based on?

:wizard: :pug:

Correct Mlcar! :earsgirl: The town is called Marceline, and it's modeled after Marceline around 1910.

:wizard: :pug:

If you get the chance to listen to MouseHouseRadio @ live365.com you might hear a recording of Walt and Roy visiting with a large group of people in Marceline, MO. trading stories of the "good ole days" there that did soo much to shape who Walt was. It sounds like it was recorded some time in the late 50's or early 60's and is really great if you're a Walt nut like me. I usually hear it in the afternoons.

..............interesting tid bit: Main Street USA was not the only reproduction Walt did of his memories of Marceline, he also built a workshop in the backyard of his last home that was modled after the barn his parents had on their Marcline farm :goodvibes ..............

:earsboy:

Thanks AmandaDaddy...I'm actually listening to Live 365 right now, I love Mouse House Radio, it's under my faves. I'll keep an "Ear" out! :earsgirl:

:wizard: :pug:

Yeah, I listen to live365 throughout most of the day.....it's a good Disney fix!

.......kinda slow 'round here right now.......anyone up for some more virtual park touring?

Which rides/attractions at WDW depict bedroom scenes?

......and remember, this is Disney, so keep it clean! :teeth:

:earsboy:

Good question ADaddy :goodvibes

Starting in MK ... CoP, Peter Pan, HM ...

Swiss Family Treehouse, Jungle Cruise (the cots in the tent..), Spaceship Earth, Cranium Command, Imagination

Well, I dont know if these count as attractions, but Mickeys house, Minnie's house, and Donald's boat?

:wizard: :pug:

The Wizard of Oz scene in The Great Movie Ride shows Dorothy's house that falls on the Wicked Witch, and she was in the bedroom when the house fell, so the bedroom must be the room facing you in the scene (is that a stretch or what).
