Parks Game: Part 10! How Perfect is That!!!

Hey Sno -- welcome to the game

How about Jerry Orbach

he won a Tony for 'Promises Promises' in 1968
he stars on Law and Order as Det. Lennie Briscoe
and was Lumiere's voice in Beauty and the Beast. -- he was also a voice in Alladin King of Theives.

++++++++++++++++++++++++
Oh - and he is the voice of Lumiere in Mickeys Philharmagic -- a ride in the Magic Kingdom.
++++++++++++++++++++++++

Do I win? :)

Sno....that's definitely not too easy of a question for me!!

and now I have to put on my Parks Game Semantics Police outfit and issue the following information:

Sno...it is important to keep our trivia here focused on the theme parks (so they don't move us to the Community Board), so does the answer tie in somehow to a WDW park attraction? Unfortunately, I have no idea who the answer could be. And don't feel badly about asking the question....it's a great one but we need to tie it to WDW.

And to the Breakey clan....personal remarks are not a problem for the most part, but the posts need to advance the game if possible, either making a guess at an open question or replying to responses for a question. Again, this is the request of the moderators to keep us on this board.

Granny unzips his one piece PGSP suit and steps back into the Chalk Circle, a little unsure of what he just said...

Uh...sorry folks, that happens from time to time when we get "off topic". Thanks to everyone for their understanding.

:wave2: SnoWhiteRabbit...sweetie... we need to keep our questions on the "Parks Game" thread to the Parks of WDW... we have another trivia thread tor everything else, I'll dig up the link for you...

But feel free to stay and play here... we love having new players like yourself :)

Please continue...

::yes::

Nathan Lane was the voice of Timon...won a Tony for the Producers (with Matthew Broderick...voice of older Simba)

edit: can be found in the old Lion King show in MK...(a note for PG police :smooth: )

TV show: "Charlie Lawrence"

Granny - I apologize for all Breakeys on this board and those that are not. I agree - we need to stay on topic...

I did answer Sno's latest question and did a fairly good job of tying it into a park attraction.

Please remain seated, this thread is about to begin moving again.

pirate: Pirate!! You saved the day!

Everyone is now legit!

Nathan lane can also be heard as Timon in Epcot, the Land's movie narration. ::yes::

:wave2:

Edit: Nice job Adam!!!!:bounce:

Adam...no apologies necessary....just something that has to get done from time to time!

And yes, it looks like this question does tie back into WDW in a couple of ways!

Hey all,

Well I am over at Melissa's watching her kids while she runs an errand, so I thought I would see what is going on.

First of all I think that I need to award 2 AAQ's for my POTC question. I had thought that he said "Dead men tell no tales" but MBabe has me wondering now. I kow I have heard the landlubbers quote on the ride.

Since I can't remember what he says, both Pixie and MBabe get

This is to be sung to the "A Pirate's Life for Me" song

Yo ho yo ho an A - AQ for you!

Adam...I knew about Nathan Lane but I had never heard that about Jerry Orbach....cool info...I've got to watch BnB again now to hear his voice....

Also...have you seen the new PhilharMagic? It was awesome!!!!

jumps up and down excitedly at her "dead men tell no tales" AAQ...and plops it in the middle of the CC with a new enigma

How tall is the Christmas Tree in MK and how much does it weigh??

Thought this was good cause i am trying to decorate for the holidays right now!

Yes Pirate -- Philharmagic is great -- I love the size of that screen :)

Here is another question:

Name all of the rides and variations of rides/attractions that have occupied the Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin location. -- bonus AAQ card awarded if you include dates for each.

Thanks Todd... Nice touch on the song pirate: ... I love that song ::yes::

In the PoC auction scene... how many women are being auctioned... and as a bonus, who is being called out for ;)?

:p

ok i got a question...

If after I got off of Big Thunder Mountain and wanted a fast bite... Where would I go to get something from a place hosted by Coca Cola?

Pixie - I am going to throw out a guess -- 85 feet and 750lbs.

adamb

four questions posted at the same time -- not bad

Here's y try at getting 4 AAQ's at once.

Pixie - 19.71 feet and 1,971 lbs. ;) That would be a HEAVY tree!!

Adam - *Nuts* I can't remember the first ride, If You Had Wings (brought to you by Eastern Airlines), *Double nuts* I don't remember the Delta ride, and Buzz Lightyear.

MBabe - 5 girls and "We want the Red 'ead"

Horizons - How bout Pecos Bill's Cafe

adam.

there was

Delta Dream flight
Dream Flight
If i had wings
If you could fly...

no clue on that date...

Adam Breakey wins! It's Jerry Orbach, Lennie Briscoe on Law & Order and Lumiere's voice in Beauty and the Beast.

I didn't know that he is Lumiere's voice in Mickey's Philharmonic because I haven't seen it yet (can't wait!) so it was fun for me to learn something new from my own question!

I also edited my original question to read: What Tony award winner has a role in COLOR=blue]a Disney animated movie featured in a MGM show...[/COLOR] to help tie it in.

I realized after I posted it that this *is* the Parks Game

If I ever get another AAQ card, I'll be sure my question better fits the rules....still learning here...and having lots of fun!

Thanks again for playing -- and am I supposed to give the AAQ card to Adam Breakey for getting the question right?
