Parking ? while visiting Washington, DC

There is a preview performance of the concert Sunday night. True locals go to that rehearsal when the crowd and traffic are less

Or we just watch it on TV....

When we lived near DC we would park at the Raegan building. It's very close to the Natural History Museum. I can't recall what the cost was but we didn't think it was too bad. Be prepared to have your vehicle searched, and your belongings searched reentering the building. Arrive at least an hour early too.

We are back from DC and we took the metro to Arlington Cemetery one day and then decided we hated riding the metro. To be fair, it was a weekday and it was super crowded in the late afternoon because of commuters coming home from work but the next day, we decided to drive in. We parked on the street beside the river in Potomac Park. It was free and a quick walk to the Lincoln Memorial. We had a really nice time. Both of our daughters, age 20 and 7, enjoyed themselves and so did my husband and I. Lots of walking though, and not like Disney walking where you stop regularly to go on rides, etc. Bring your sneakers!
