Is the parking structure secure? I mean is there a security guard that walks around?

The reason I ask is that hubby and I are going to DL for one day in October, the day before we leave on our first cruise! So the plan is to drive down (we are in Nor Cal) and park in the structure, then spend the day at the parks. We will have our luggage in the car and I am a bit paranoid about leaving stuff in my car.

Just wondering???

Thanks!

You will be fine. Just as in any situation conceil the luggage with a blanket or something. The M&F structure is secure; they have security vehicles driving around, they have security on bikes and they have an army of security cameras that are watching everything too.

Nobody will jack your stuff in the structure, no worries. I have a motorcycyle with a bunch of shiny modifications that I never leave unattended anywhere and I feel confident when I leave it parked in the structure.

I've seen security on bikes riding around, they also have security cameras, but with that said it's still a public parking structure....popcorn::

Are you staying at a hotel that night? Can you go there before going to the parks, and have them put your luggage in their locked luggage area? Most hotels have them. It increases your cost b/c they like it if you tip them, LOL, but *for me* it would be worth it, probably.

Well, I do know that leaving our car packed with luggage made me very very NERVOUS, though that was at the hotel (too cheap to lock things away) not the parking structure.

Anyway, might be worth thinking about, since this is BEFORE your cruise, where you will indeed need clothing. :goodvibes

Yes, we are staying in San Pedro that night, which is about 30 miles from Disneyland. I didn't even think of stopping at the hotel on the way! I will call and ask them!

Thanks!
