Is it necessary for me to go to our hotel first before going to a theme park? I am planning on DHS for arrival day and would like to get there as soon as possible. We're travelling about 10 hours, so I can only leave so early, LOL. Will I be able to get free parking just by showing them my registration? (I am doing online check-in). We're staying at POP so not too far from DHS anyway - would it best to go by and get a permit if needed, then drive? Or should I park at the hotel and hop a bus to DHS?

They'll just scan your MB. You don't need a paper permit to park in the park lots.

When you complete online check-in, choose the earliest arrival time and all your trip data will be activated at that designated time.

They can scan your magic band for parking
But showing registration might be fine

Thanks guys! I'll do that.
