Does anyone know if parking attendants or security every browse through the parking lots? I'm sure they have cameras, but do they ever do any kind of surveillance of the parking lots?
Without a doubt, there are occasional patrols through the lots, and they also have those portable observation "towers" that they can put in places they want to give some extra attention. However, I wouldn't consider WDW parking lots any more or less safe than a local mall parking lot. In past visits we've been warned to keep stuff out of sight in the car because they were experiencing a rash of incidents (in this case they named the MK parking lot) where people were smashing windows and popping trunk locks on vehicles that were obviously loaded up with all the family's belongings.
wow!!
I know what your getting at most ppl drop their grad at Disney world . But as a New Yorker with ties to the NYPD they always tell ppl to keep your stuff out of site such as a GPS and Ipad. just put them away. These are crimes of opportunity this can happen anywhere from in front of your home or at the mall. So you are your own first line of defense if you leave these electronics visible you are making it easier for a prep to want to break into your car.. heres is oee of my favort tip i tell ppl remove your chargers form viwe if they cant see it they dont wnant it thes gose for the I pad charger as well lolz..

"Suggesting" how someone should post is rude all day long.
You don't know if its the persons first language or if they are even capable of doing what you suggested, hence rude.
You should go to the imsorry.com website and send that gentleman an apology.

Spell check can be really helpful if you want to be understood.
Suggesting someone should use spell check because their post can not be understood or read is not rude. It is needed. There is no point to post on a community message board if you are not willing to take the time to make yourself understood. Most readers are not going to "waste" their time trying to make sense of those posts.
