Does anyone know if Pioneer Hall has handicapped parking available (I have a handicap auto card for my state that I'm bringing with me). I've heard the "regular" parking lot is a long way from the hall, and that there's a lot of walking and a bus ride involved. We were planning on driving to Hoop De Doo (we're staying offsite), but might we be better off using WDW transportation to get there?

I didn't really notice a parking lot by Pioneer Hall so I'm thinking the answer is no. There is handicap parking not too far from the bus stop where we caught the bus to see HDDR. My mom who is usually in a wheelchair at WDW due to stamina issues, was OK walking to the bus from the handicap parking, but I can see how it may be difficult for some people.

You may want to give Disney a call directly if nobody on here can answer your question.

Have a wonderful trip! :) HDDR is GREAT!!!!

Only persons staying in Fort Wilderness cabins and camp sites can drive into Fort Wilderness. It has been that way clear back in 1998. You have to park then take a bus to the Hoop de doo Revue. Sorry about that. The only other option is a boat there and that may not be possible if the water level is too low or high.

And even that driving is limited to going to/from your site and areas outside FW. Other than a 15min parking area near the meadows trading post, there is NO Parking lot inside FW. Using a handicap space at FW should put you close to the buses and the walk from the bus to HDDR is about the same as the walk from the boat to the HDDR.

There is no parking at Pioneer Hall. You must park at the Reception Center and ride an internal bus to the Pioneer Hall area.
