I've never driven to WDW before - we've always just used Tiffany to get there, then the WDW transportation to get around!

We'll be arriving at WDW just in time for our 10:00 breakfast PS at Kona. Can we just drive into the Poly, and tell the guard that we have breakfast PS? Will they charge us to park? We won't be checked in to our resort yet so we won't have the parking thing to put in our windshield (do they still do that?)

Thanks!

You should be fine. Just tell the Guard you have a PS at Kona. They might give you their own 3 hour pass to park, which is free.

Yes, the resorts still issue parking permits which are displayed on the dashboard.

Don't worry a bit about parking there. You'll be fine.

If you want valet, then of course, you'll pay a fee.

Not a problem. Unless the place is almost empty, you'll most likely get a 3 hour parking pass.
If you intend on going to the MK right after breakfast (as we always do after Kona), DON'T park at the Poly. Just park at the TTC, walk over to Kona, then grab the monorail to the MK.
