Parking fee on way to Contemporary?

For my next trip, I am thinking of staying off property. One night i want to drive a private vehicle to the Contemporary for dinner but will not be visiting a park.

My recollection is that to get to the contemporary, you need to drive through the parking fee toll booths for MK. In the past when staying on property I always had a parking pass so never gave it any thought.

When driving to the contemporary do I need to pass through those fee booths and if so do I have to pay the fee even though I ma not going to a park?

If I do have to go through the booths, is there a back way to avoid it coming from Kissimmee?

Thanks

You just tell them that you're going to the Contemporary ...

Then just drive off.

Quietly! No yelling, engine revving, squealing of tires, thought.
If you needed to ask as opposed to tell, please say, "Thank you" first.
For those eavesdropping and going to the Polynesian or the Grand Floridian or Shades of Green or the Magic Kingdom Transportation & Ticket Center dropoff, after bearing right at the big fork after the toll plaza and towards the Contemporary, take the first possible left at a light to get to those.

Be sure to approach the MK toll booths on the right side. The turn-off for the MK resorts comes up right after the toll booths and if you're not on the right you will miss it. Note that the right-most lane is for buses only, so try to be in the lane next to that.
