Parking fee @ FFI

I'm noticing that FFI shows an $11 charge for parking on their website, but through LMTclub and GAT they show no parking fee. Do they wave the fee if you book through a travel agency? Also, can anybody tell me about their parking situation? Are there spots available, or is it terrible. We've stayed there before, but didn't have a car that time.

We haven't stayed at FFI for many years. When we last did, we used Get Away Today, and the parking fee was included in the package. There is still a parking fee at FFI. It is now $11. My mother-in-law who stays there frequently says it's all valet parking because they don't have enough room in the lot to park any other way. That would annoy me, but it doesn't seem to bother her.

On Get Away Today, the room description listing shows:
Maximum Occupancy: 5
Check-In Time: 4:00 PM
Check-Out Time: 12:00 PM
Parking Fee: $0.00
Savings: $15.00 per night

Coffee Maker
Refrigerator
Laundry

So they acknowledge that there's a parking fee that is covered in the cost of your package. Funny that they call it a $15 savings since Fairfield's own site lists parking as $11.

I don't know how LMT packages work so I can't comment on that.

I just booked thru LMT club yesterday and didn't see anything about parking being included but since we wont have a car I didnt pay too much attention. I called LMT club to verify the cancellation policy. They were very helpful so maybe you can give them a quick call. I booked my stay over the phone and got a little more off the price. It was VERY little but I figure I can buy a few Mickey bars with my savings. Lol.

We usually stay at FFI. I booked last year with Costco and the parking fee was included. I booked through LMT Club for our stay last month. Based on all the info I read (or thought I did) I expected to pay for parking this time. However, we do not appear to have been charged parking fees now that our trip is over. I would go in expecting to be charged, and an added bonus if you are not.
The FFI offers both valet and self parking. It is not all valet parking...that would be annoying. There are usally ample spaces, but in the evening or early morning the lot may be close to full. We have always found a spot eventually.

Interesting...I wonder if my mother-in-law knows this. She makes it sound like there is no choice. Maybe she is there at busier times? I will have to ask her again. Either I misunderstood her, or she doesn't realize self-parking is an option. I think it costs the same either way though, right?

Right...the option is available and the fee is the same.
