Parking cost ?? & american express lounge ?

I just made my Ressie ... On the print-out It says 18.00 per night ---- ( self Parking) That is an extra 72.00 -- What is that all about ... ???
If I buy my tickets thru Universal Web. & use my American Express I have to Privilege to the Lounge at US ... Is it nice Or worth it ?

You have to pay to park at the Universal hotels. People who don't bring a car, don't have to pay.

The lounge is a nice place to cool off and grab a free bottle of water.

Loews hotels charge for parking per night if you bring a car, those who don't bring a car aren't charged for it( Disney builds it into the resort costs and charges everyone whether they use it or not).

the parking charge begins at midnight.
you could do two days in the park and only have a one $18 parking charge at the hotel then.


compared to other hotels parking charges, Loews is cheap.



week ago friday, i paid $34 for 2.4 hours of parking at a Holiday Inn in the city./ chicago
