Parking at the parks?

My friend had a question for me and since I usually stay on site and very rarely have a car, I dont know what to tell her.
How much does it cost to park at the parks? Also, if you park hop or leave and return to the same park during the same day do you pay again, or is it an all day pass?

$8/day, and the pass is good at any park you go to that day (and you can leave and come back).

Parking is $8 and they give you a card that has a picture and a date on it. It is good all day. They change the picture everyday so it is easy for them to tell what day the card is good for. HTH

August 2003 it was $7 to park. I believe prices have gone up to either $8 or $9.

But you only pay once per day. As long as you keep your parking pass you can drive from park to park without having to pay again.

Edit:
While I was searching Disney's website for the price of a parking ticket others noted parking is $8. Not bad considering if I go downtown for a major event (such as a Grizzlies or Tigers game) every location wants $10+ for 2 hours.
