parking at resort

We will be renting a car for only part of our stay at WDW. My question is can we park a rental car at the resort, and how much will it cost? Can we leave the car at the resort on our departure day - I was going to have them hold our luggage as we want to spend one last afternoon with Mickey.

Yes, you can have a rental at a resort.

No, it doesn't cost you anything (unless you use valet parking at the deluxe resorts)

Yes, you can still park on departure day.

When you check in, they'll ask if you've a car (or getting one) - you tell them yes, and they'll issue you with a parking permit which you leave in view on your front dashboard, which lasts the duration of your stay until midnight on your departure day.

THANK YOU!! (Those caps are happy yelling) The National lady said I would have to park at one of the parks and pay parking on my departure day - that did not sound right to me.

Your resort parking "card" (it's actually paper) entitles you to free parking at the parks. So if you choose to drive to the park on your last day, you can park there for free. Just remember where you parked!!

Valet parking at resorts is $6/day. You pay once and all valet parking after that is included at any resort. (Does not include gratuity for valet parkers)

Which Disney Resort are you staying at? The value and moderates all have self parking at no charge. The deluxes offer self parking at no charge and valet parking for $6 per day.
