I am planning on having dinner at O'hana one night while I am at WDW. I will drive my rental car to the resort, park and dine, then I am thinking about heading over MK since it will be open until midnight.

Would I be able to just take the monorail from the Ploy to the MK and back once the park closes? Will the CM give me any kind of problem if I was to take the resort monorail back to my car once the park closes??

Thank you for your help

You may not park at a resort for theme park access. You will be given a time limit to park while dining.

You will get a parking pass when you get to the Poly for your dinner. You may park in their lot for only a limited amount of time. If you plan on being at the Magic Kingdom for longer than your pass allows, you will have to move your car to the TTC lot. This is to prevent the monorail resorts from being over-run with people using them for day parking, and making it impossible for people staying at the resort to find a place to park. If your car is in the Poly lot for longer than what your pass states, it may very well be towed. Not a good way to end your night.

Park at the TTC, then head to the left and walk to the Polynesian via their pathway. It's a really pleasant walk, only about 7-8 minutes. Then take the monorail, or the little boat, to the MK after eating. Much better than worrying about whether or not your car is fine.

To the OP please park your car at the TTC. As the others have stated it's only a 7-8 minute walk to the Polynesian, this way when your ready to leave the Magic Kingdom you can leave your car parked at the TTC until the Magic Kingdom closes. Plus it's not fair for guests of the Polynesian to have you leaving your car parked in their parking lot, when you would not be physically inside the Polynesian.

Thank you ALL for your help.

It makes total since that they would not want non-ploy resort guests parking their cars in their lot for more than the 3 hours. I just didn't know if there was a time limit etc......

I know how hard it can be to find parking after dragging in from the parks late at night, so I can totally respect their wishes...thank you all.

I will just park at the TTC and then walk to the Poly.......Is the trail to the Poly marked from the TTC???

Thanks again.

It's not even a trail--the Poly is right next door to the TTC and is easily seen. Just stay to the left at the TTC, spot the sign for the walkway-- and walk. It's exactly what we do when we're eating at the POly. The walk is a very short one.

As you head to the ticket booths at the TTC, go left. The ticket booths will now be on your right. You will see a 'hole' in the trees. You will need to cross a small roadway, then you will be on the walkway to the Polynesian. It is well marked and very pleasant. Have fun!!
