We are going to MK on March 3rd and MK hours are 9 AM- 8 PM (driving to the park). Once we do what we want at MK we want to take the Monorail to Epcot, which has EMH that night 9 PM - 11 PM. Since MK closes at 8 PM, will we be able to take the monorail back to MK to get our car and get out of the parking lot? I cant find what time the MK parking lot is closed/locked up or if the monorail stops at a certain time to MK since they close at 8 PM.

Several points to make here:
  1. The monorail has a loop that goes from the TTC (where you park) to the MK and a separate loop that goes from the TTC to Epcot.
  2. It doesn't matter what time the MK closes, you can still get from Epcot to the TTC on the monorail
  3. Park closing hours for the MK won't affect that ability.

Another option is to just drive to Epcot after you are done in MK. You can take the Monorail to TTC. If you have to pay for parking, you can just show receipt to park at Epcot for free.

We did exactly what the OP wants to do a couple of years ago. The only issue was that the parking trams did not run and we had to walk from the monorail station to the parking lot. The good thing was that our car was only one of about 12 in the lot which made finding our car really easy.

A few years ago the monorail closed before the end of emh. If that does happen there is bus service back to ttc.

March 3 is a Tuesday so there is likely a Disney after hours at MK that night so there should be trams running till at least midnight.

edit: after hours changes days each week. It’s on a Tuesday the week I’m traveling May.
