Parking at Magic Kingdom

Hi. I am not sure if this is where I need be to ask this question but I was debating whether to post here or the transportation board. Kinda a toss up because it has to do with the Magic Kingdom and transportation. Anyways....

Does anyone know how much it costs to park at the Magic Kingdom?

You can Valet park at the Contempary for only $6.00. Just go to the gaurd gate and tell them your there for Breakfast at Chef Mickey's, wich is a good place to have Breakfast anyway. You can get your car Valeted for $6.00 and then take the Resort Monorail to the park or it is also close enough to just walk.

Parking at the resorts to get into the parks is not permitted or encouraged. There are signs everywhere stating this. Parking is for guests and people having business at that resort. One of the reasons valet parking is now 6.00 is because of this abuse.

I can't believe you are telling someone to use a monorail resort's parking to go to Magic Kingdom for the day! That is NOT what the resort parking is for!

You have to park at the TTC and take the boat or monorail to MK. You cannot leave your car at the CR and use the monorail to get into MK.

Park in the MK lot. It's fast, they are very good at sending you to the next parking spots and you can always take the tram to the gate. It's $7 and you can go to any other lot the same day with that same $7 ticket. Don't try to pull a fast one...It only hurts all of us in the end!!

besides, I have heard they have towed cars that park at the Contemporary and go to MK. Not a good idea.

It is just as fast to park in the regular lot anyway.

If we end up driving to MK we will just pay the $7 to park in there lot. It is not worth that $1 to have my car towed. It ends up costing alot more....I know my husband drives a tow truck for a living and tows alot of cars that park in the wrong lot just for convenience.
