Parking at Kidani and Jambo House

I believe I read that parking at Kidani is under the building. Does this mean it is essentially close to your room - do you park under the section that your room is in and are there a lot of elevators close by? Since the walk to Jambo House is sort of far (10-15 mins), can you drive over there easily or would you end up with a far walk at the parking lot anyway? Is there valet parking at Jambo House and is there a discount if you have a handicap parking tag?

Hi, just got back from Jambo for the first time. We walked over to Kidani and used the amazing pool/water play area there. Yes, most of the parking is under the Kidani building, but there is also some outside, adjacent to the building. I think each of the parking areas has its own elevator pod? They were named after Lion King characters. There is a huge self-parking lot in front of Jambo, which isn't too far from the main entrance. You can certainly drive over there. There is also valet parking at both, but I don't know about a discount. You can also take any WDW park bus to get you to Jambo and then the DTD bus will bring you back to Kidani. I had heard that the walk from Jambo to Kidani was long, and it is a good distance, but certainly doable. We walked to the Samawati pool and then rode the bus back to Jambo. Hope that helps! Parking at Kidani is under the building, the parking outside is the short stay, for when checking in etc.

You can park wherever you like there are no specific spaces for each room.

There are four elevators, two on each wing, so the spaces ear these normally go the fastest, but we were always able to park nearish to our closest one, but this was in October, i would imagine around Christmas/Easter then a space close to an elevator would be like Gold Dust

There is valet parking at both Kidani vilalge and at Jambo house, and i believe that it is free for people with a valid disabled badge just need to pay the tip. However i may be wrong about this.

However getting between the two is very simple. It is about a 10 minute walk between the two lobbies, depending on where your room is in Kidani, this could be a lot longer, or shorter.

All of the park buses pick up at Kidani first, then stop at Jambo, so you can ride these over between the resorts, to return Downtown Disney Buses pick up at Jambo house first, then go to Kidani.

There is also an internal resort shuttle that runs between the two hotels, and picks up and drops of right outside the lobbies.

Not sure about a valet discount but there is handicap parking at Jambo. It’s to the left of the entrance doors.
