Hello all! We are coming to Epcot using our truck with an ECV on a carrier on the back for the first time. I have mobility issues but am not considered disabled nor do we have a handicap placard or tag. Where do we park to ensure that we can get the ECV on and off without worrying about a car parked right behind us? I asked through the Disney disabilities email and they keep pointing me to the handicap parking even though I stated we do not have a handicap permit. Thanks for your help!

We use an ecv and drive to the parks, and also dont have handicapped tag.

As you’re driving into the lot there's usually a blue line on the road all the way to the right. Follow that. Youll encounter attendants, just let them know you need to unload ecv. Typically they’ll direct you to Medical Overflow. Thats for situations like this. This lot is usually adjacent to Handicap reserved lot. Following the blue line gets you to that area in each park.

Genie+ gave you good directions. Once you are at the medical overflow there are often still the long slots for two vehicles. Just pick one where you are pulling in behind someone or pull in to an empty one but don't pull through. I've never encountered a CM at these lots and always picked our own spot. If they are there just explain to them your needs.

As others stated, you may be directed to medical overflow. Depends on the parking situation though. You may also be directed to follow everyone else but then they will park you in a spot on the end they saved for medical overflow, if the actual overflow is full already. Just talk to every CM you encounter starting at the toll plaza to get directions.
