We're going to Chef Mickey's this June and I am wondering about the best way to get there. We would like to drive our own vehicle. Would we have to park at the TTC or can we drive all the way to the Contemporary without being guests? If using Disney transportation is the best bet, how would that work? We're staying at POR Riverside. Thanks for any advice anyone might have.

If you have a dining reservation you can park at the Contemporary.

You didn't say if you were having breakfast or dinner. If it's breakfast you will have to move the car after your meal.

Either way I suggest you plan on being in the Magic Kingdom for that part of the day. If you will be eating breakfast at the CR you can take the MK bus and either walk (about 7 minutes) or monorail over.

For dinner you can either go to the MK first or after your meal doing the above.

Actually, we are attending The Studios that day. We'll be there at rope drop, leave for an afternoon nap/swim, then head to Chef Mickey's for a 5:30 ADR. We then plan on going back to the Studios for the second showing of Fantasmic after using any fastpasses we have accumulated that day. Does that affect the advice you have given? Thanks!

We ate at chef mickey's for an early breakfast on our Epcot day. We drove from our resort. We were planning on driving to Epcot, but asked at the concierge desk if we could leave our car and were told it was no problem. Then we used the monorail to get to epcot. Not sure if that always happens, we were there in January, so maybe it wasn't that busy?? so they let us leave our car. HOpe that helps!

Thanks, Mickeyreeds.

Did you have to provide proof of your ADR in order to park?

Your name should be on the list the guard has for people with ADR's. I suggest you have your confirmation number with you just in case.

Since you are going back to the Studios after your meal all you have to do is go outside of the Contemporary and to the right you will see covered bus stations. I don't remember if the bus stops are marked. Just look at the overhead sign on the bus for the Studios.
