Parking at Canaveral

We are driving down and want to know the rate and arrangements for parking at the terminal. Thanks!!

It is 54.00 for a car or SUV. We had no problems what so ever. My husband drove up to the curb, the porter came and got our luggage, my husband when and parked the car and met us in the check in line. Very smooth.

Are you sure it's $54? I thought it was $8 per day now, which works out to $56 for the 7 day, $32 for the 4 day, and $24 for the 3 day.

Yes, you're right, taswira. The price is $56 for the 7-day. Payable in advance. Cash, MasterCard and VISA are accepted.

If you're driving an RV or something else that takes up two spaces, the rates are doubled.

Dave, are you sure about using Mastercard or Visa to pay for parking? In my docs it says payable in advance, cash only

It sure would be more convenient to use my credit card but I would hate to arrive at port and find that I must pay in cash. Can anyone confirm that they have used a credit card to pay for parking at the port?

Yes, I'm sure about MasterCard and VISA. The parking is operated by the Canaveral Port Authority rather than by Disney, and Disney has not updated their documents.

Yes, debit and credit cards can be used, I've used one of each.

Parking is gated and secured, however, there have been some occasional problems with breakins in the past. Haven't heard of any since the Sept 11th increases in security, but I would still think it's possible.

You also need to be careful about not leaving food or open soft drinks in the car since insects can find their way to your car while you're onboard.

Parking at Port Canaveral's Cruise Terminals is paved, gated, and under 24-hour surveillance. Parking fee is $8.00 per day for vehicles up to 20 feet in length and $16.00 per day for vehicles over 20 feet. The total amount for the time the vehicle is to be parked must be paid in full upon entering the parking area. Visa, MasterCard, Traveler's Checks issued in U.S. dollars and Cash are accepted in payment of fees. All fees stated above are subject to change without notice by Canaveral Port Authority.
