I'm planning a trip, not using my vacation club points.

Question is: If I'm staying at another resort, how much do I have to pay to park at the Boardwalk? How many hours can the car stay there ( i.e. from morning till night or only X number of hrs)? Do we get any parking discount by showing vacation club membership card?

Thanks for any info.

Hi,BWV4. I am pretty sure, though not positive, that vallet parking at BWV (or any DVC resort) is free to members regardless if they are staying on points. Of course, it is still appropriate to tip.

And by the way, WELCOME to the DIS Boards!

Even if you're not staying on-site, your DVC membership entitles you to free valet parking at the DVC resorts that feature valet parking. Just show your blue membership card and that should do it.

I'm not aware of time restrictions on valet parking in this manner. It's been discussed (and debated) here before whether members should valet park at BWV all day while using the parks. I won't offer an opinion on that....hopefully, I've just represented the facts as they are.

Oh...and don't forget to tip the attendants even though the parking is free!! :)

I've never had a problem parking at Boardwalk when staying at another resort, even non-DVC. We usually visit at least once when we're not staying there. I've never received a time limit even for self parking. Just flash your DVC card.

Thanks, everyone for the quick responses. Looks like I won't have a problem.

I'd agree with the above but think it would be inappropriate to park there mainly for park visits if this is your intention.

I agree with Dean. Boardwalk parking whether it be self parking or valet parking is intended for guests staying at BWI/BWV and guests that are patronizing the boardwalk and the Epcot resort's restaurants and shops. Not as a parking venue for guests going to Epcot or MGM.
