Parking at Board walk and going to Hollywood

Good day - I will be staying at Boardwalk Studio for my stay in August. I will be parking my car there as well. On my check out day I am planning on going to Hollywood studio later in the day. My question is can I leave my car parked at Boardwalk and pick it up after park close? Would it be better to move the car to the Hollywood parking lot when I am leaving Boardwalk for good? Just trying to understand my logistics.

You should have parking privileges at your resort until the end of the day on the day you check out.

I’d leave the car at the Boardwalk and boat, walk, or skyline oner to DHS and walk or boat back at the end of your park visit.

You could leave the car at BW like Steve said. Even after checkout, you still get resort privileges like pool and extended park hours until midnight. It might be easier bringing your car to HS depending what your plans are after HS.

Up to you either way works. For myself, it would depend on how late I planned on staying at HS. It would be a shorter walk to the car to park it at HS then leave it at BW.

Because you will have already checked out and have luggage/personal items in your car, I would definitely leave car at BW until after park closing. I would think there is better security in the BW parking lot than at DHS. JMO

... to me it's all about what time you plan to leave the park. Long walk and at closing long waits for boat & SkyLiner ... personally I'd rather just have a short walk to my car.

Thank you all for your insight. I am glad that I have the option of leaving the car at boardwalk. I am going to do a wait and see approach. See how we are doing and which makes the most since the day we are checking out.

This would be me. Especially if leaving at closing. We've sometimes gone to the boat launch, seen the line, walked back to BWI/BC/YC and got there before most people even got on the boat (soooo many stops plus a long line). But I also prefer not to have a long walk at the end of the night when my feet hurt.

We would usually check our luggage with Bell Services and go to DHS, then DH would bring the car to the BW entrance while I get our luggage. I don’t like worrying what the hot sun beating down on the car trunk might do to things inside the luggage, sitting all day in the parking lot at DHS.
