Parking and purchasing an AP?

Can we purchase an AP with our dvc discount at any of the parks ? Would they reimburse our parking for that day???? TIA

You can also purchase the discounted AP at Guest Services at DD - then you won't have to worry about parking fees since your AP will get you thru the gates for the free parking.

The other part of your answer is that no they wouldn't reimburse you for parking if you choose to buy your AP at a park. If staying at a DVC you could park at BWV and walk into EPCOT to buy your pass there but with a car the far and away best place to buy is downtown disney.

If staying at a DVC at WDW, once they check-in they will have a car pass for free parking anyway.

Yes they will. You just bring your parking receipt to Guest Relations and they will refund your parking fee when they sell you your AP.

Huh... I thought any WDW resort guests can get a free parking permit for theme parks upon checkin.... Atleast I could at CR. Does DVC not give free parking when staying at the resort? I read this on mousesavers but never done it.

Yes - any guest staying at a WDW resort (including one of the DVC on site resorts), will get a parking permit that entitles him/her to free parking at the theme parks.

However, you do not have to be staying at a DVC resort to purchase a DVC-discounted AP/PAP. You just have to be a DVC member with the proper ID.

Perhaps the OP is not staying at a WDW resort or wants to purchase the AP before check in or is a local Florida resident.

Your voucher will get you free parking the same as your AP if you purchase on line ahead of time, your time on the AP will not start until you pick it up.
