Park to Park

I know I asked this as part of another thread, but felt I needed to separate it out.

Is there any shorter way to get from IOA to US rather than going all the way back to the front then across? Is there a ferry or something? My mom and I want to try to do WWOHP and then go to Universal Studios for the rest of the day--I'd like to avoid going all the way around, as my mom is still recovering from knee surgery.

No cut through unfortunately. You can, however, save a few steps by entering or exiting the Studios by the Blue Man Group building. I've heard that sometimes it's not open, but it's been open every time we've tried it. There is a TM there to scan your tickets and fingerprints.

If you're entering the park, just take the path beside Rip, Ride, Rockit. If you're exiting, take the last right turn that you can take before the exit. It's in between the big gift shop and Jimmy Neutron.
