Park Tickets ans Split Stay?

Hi guys! Hoping you can help me with something. I currently have a trip booked for 5/10-5/17 at AKV (AKV ressie will have dining plan on it). We just decided to come in a few days earlier. In an effort to save some money, we most likely will stay at a value or a moderate resort before we check into AKV. We plan to buy a 8 day park hopper w/watermark option when we check into whatever resort we stay at before checking into AKV. My question is when we check into AKV, will the front desk be able to transfer the 8 day tics that are on my other KTTW card to the new AKV KTTW card or magic band?

I have done split stays at cash rooms before and had my tickets transferred. They did it at the front desk of the second resort for me.

They were not able to do it for us at OKW last week. My DS, DDIL, and DGS had to use the first key they got for park admission for the whole time. We had to check out and in once at OkW and then had a move to BLT for a total of 4 nights at each place. By the time you go you should be able to have all your reservations and tickets linked through MDE and according to the woman at OKW it will all work for your trip. I think she may be somewhat overly optimistic but only time will tell. My son has been asked to try the magic bands for his trip to BCV in three weeks and is wondering about putting both new tickets (non expiring) and old tickets with a day of so of park days and several days of water parks and more (non expiring) on the band. He wants to use the water parks and more option but not the park days. I told him he might want to just use the old tickets as they are unless they check and find there are no park days left.

Thanks! The pic is at the pool at AKV Jambo House. In June we sent a few extra days in the world and when we left AKV and checked into POR. They were able to transfer the remaining tics to the new car. Just wasn't sure if it still worked the same way. Going onto a card that would have dining plan too. Thanks!!
