park tickets and birthday ideas?

Hi

My little boy (well not so little any more!!!) will be turning 4 on our trip to Florida next March, we leave on the 22nd March 2007 and his birthday is on the 25th.....what can we do for his birthday, thinking a character meal? have read about getting a birthday badge...so will do that...any other ideas??

Also re the park tickets, we will be buying them before we go - so I am assuming it is free for 3 and under...so do I buy him one of not??? we have 3 kids - so any money we can save!!!

Hi Nat. Try Chef Mickey's. The characters hold a parade and they bring out a little cup cake for the Birthday kids with a candle on it. We did this for my son's 7th birthday last year and he really lovedit. I have him on video after the event saying "and all the characters did a parade just for me!". Sweet

Hopefully the new character meal in MGm will be up and running by then, it's rumoured to be a pixar/toy story type thing and will be more appealing for boys, if its not then I'd second Chef Mickeys.
I'm not sure what you'd do on the ticket front! If he was 9 and turning 10 during his trip he could use a child ticket bought prior to leaving but whether you'd have to buy one or not I probably would just 'cos I'd hate any embarassing moment when you're there.

You need to buy a ticket from 3 upwards so yes he definitely needs one

It's under 3s that are free, not 3 and under as far as I know.


I recommend a character meal and perhaps let him have a day of choosing exactly what he does all day? It could be torture for you (think Dumbo for hours on end ) but lovely for him! Obviously you may need to steer him if the rides he chooses have very long lines
