Park tickets added to Room Only Question

I booked a Room Only reservation with the Disney+ room discount yesterday. I know I can purchase park tickets and then add them to my account. My question is if for some reason we had to cancel before the trip will the tickets still be good in the future to use?

Since we now have to have a park reservation I don't want to wait too long to get my tickets in place so I can make the park reservation.

Yes, fully-unused tickets never lose their value. So keep track of the ticket number(s) and what you paid. That will be the value towards a ticket "upgrade" in the future.
