This is one of those *d'uh* questions...:D

Are park passes included with land accomodations...I'm guessing no.:sunny:

Thanks!!

in my land and sea package....ultimate park hopper passes. I was told by my travel agent that they would be waiting for us when we check into our hotel (AKL)....we've never done any of this before so I hope she's telling the truth. I just called AKL to confirm for next week and they told me that because I booked through a travel agent they don't have a record of our reservation! This is a little nerve rcking for me. I will call the travel agent on Monday to confirm everything. I guess I would have liked to have the gal tell me that she was looking at my reservation as we spoke!!! I like to be in control, not have someone else control things. I guess I will just pray that things go smoothly.

Willow

:sunny: If you do the land and see package yes they are included. When you check in at the hotel you get them. They do not come with documents that come in the mail. Have a good time.

I called the disney cruise lines this morning to verify what I was getting with my package. Like you, I booked with my TA and just wanted to have someone else tell me what to expect. I tried calling disney directly several weeks ago, and was told in so many words that they can see the ressie on their screen, but since TA booked, they could not give out any particulars about the booking..GRRRR. So, today when I called, I started off by saying that I understood their policy about the TA thing, but I just wanted general info. The rep confirmed that with all land/see packages, the Ultimate hopper passes would be waiting at the check in desk at the resort.

I received my docs last week and looked them over with a magnifying glass to make sure about ressies at POR! I guess I'm going to have to have faith when I arrive that everything will be in order as promised. I dont know why they have to be so dang secretive!

The Land and sea is just great everything will be ready for you from start to finish :D its the best way to go IMHO

With the Land and Sea package you do get the ultimate park hopper passes. These are also your room keys and if you wish you can have charging privledges as well. All you have to do for that is hook up a credit or debit card to your account. Then the any charges to your room will be billed to the card. The ultimate park hoppers are good from the moment you check in until midnight the day you check out. This way you can go to the parks immediately after checking in if you want to. If your room is not ready the resort will hold your luggage while you go to a park. The UPH passes include all 4 Disney parks, the 2 water parks, Disney Quest and Pleasure Island.

We were thinking of doing the 7day...but this may tip the scales!!:D

Can you arrange to add a "land" package to a 7-day cruise, or would it be better to add a package on ourselves? Would love the convenience of it being "seamless" travel, and not having to worry about the details.

You can add stays at WDW. We did a 3 day cruise and then went to WDW for 5 days. We booked the two separately with a TA, but the transition was seamless. We didn't rent a car we just used Disney transportation. We were off the ship and on the van by 7:30 am and off to the Grand Floridian. We were to MGM by 9:30 at the latest.

Because I wasn't sure.

Another question...so we're flying in the night before and staying at another hotel. I would like to show up EARLY and check in at AKL, so we can get to the parks early. I know we can't officially check in until 3pm, but they will let us leave our bags and give us passes, right??

Because you are Canadian, you will not be allowed to check in for your cruise portion at the resort! You will still have to check in at the port where, if you are using a passport, they will hold it for you!

PS - go for the seven day cruise! You won't regret it!

mkandk - You can check in early, and if a room is not available they will hold your luggage and then you can get your passes and enjoy more time at the parks!

:sunny: Yes, they will hold your bags until your room is ready. When you check in they will give you your passes so that you can begin to enjoy the day. I wish August was here already. I can't wait.
