Park Hours!!!

OK, now I get it. Thanks everyone! We'll keep our eyes posted for those April hours. I know that someone here on these boards always lets us know what's new before I discover it by myself. :sunny:

I waited since we booked our trip in July for Feb hours! I finally emailed them in Dec & they said they would be up soon. I think you're right it's very hard to plan anything if you don't kmow the hours. I did find one a web site somewhere that would telll you the hours for the last year for the week you are going, when they finally but up the hours on the web site, they where exaclty like the year before! Can't remember the web site, but you could prob google disney world hours and find it. Just remeber the weeks change, every year! Also beware they put up the FEb hours like 2nd week in Dec , and last week they cancelled a parade we where planning on going to, throwing my schedule totally off! Good idea to check again like a week before you go!

I feel totally overwhelmed. After almost a year of planing I didn't realize the snafu that was coming! Why didn't I realize that planing a day when you don't even know the early entry days was going to be so bad. Disney really needs to come up with something better. This is my first trip with my DD's and I feel totally overwhelmed. Thank you for letting me vent :listen: Stacey2grls

Waltsgirl had mentioned that the early morning EMH's stay on schedule, what schedule? If possible could you please give me some of your disney wisdom. Thank you, Stacey2grls

Just to add to my previous post -
I was double checking the hours for our trip next week and they changed the hours AGAIN!

I had booked California Grill 90 days out, then when the hours came out Wishes wasn't scheduled so I canceled the PS and made other plans.

Then last night I see they added Wishes onto that night now! By some strange luck I was able to get a 7:20 PS for California Grill again, but now I'm busy rearranging everything AGAIN.

As for our April trip I'm not even gonna worry about it. I've got Cindy's and one other PS breakfast for the morning we leave, but otherwise I'm gonna make our other PSs closer to the trip. WDW's hours change around too much.

Here is the normal schedule:

Sunday - Disney-MGM Studios (evening)
Monday - Epcot (morning)
Tuesday - Disney-MGM Studios (morning); Disney's Animal Kingdom
(evening)
Wednesday - Magic Kingdom (evening)
Thursday - Epcot (evening)
Friday - Magic Kingdom (morning)
Saturday - Disney's Animal Kingdom (morning)

The evening hours have change ALOT week to week. They were switched around the week we were there MLK week (Jan.15-22) and have seen changes to the evening schedule for February already. I have not seen nor heard of the AM schedule changing since it began on Jan. 2.

I am not sure that they have changed all Feb hours, however we were going to see the Spectromagic on 17 & it was cancelled! I thinks it' really rude of them to do this so close too our trip! Now I had to reschedule things & change our pick up for the car service!!

That does stink. It is one thing to ADD onto the hours, but to take away...
I'd mention something to guest services.

Don't feel overwhelmed. At the very least you can book the priority seatings that are MOST important to you, like Cinderella's Castle, or Chef Mickey's for dinner reservations, they can always be changed later if you decide after the hours are released that it wont work for your schedule.

In general, going to the extra magic hour in the morning- first thing and following a agenda of what rides you want, plan a break for around 11:30, grab a fast pass before your 11:30 PS (you will have been there since 8am, so it's a good time for a break) then when you finish eating your fast pass time will be ready, hop on 2-3 other rides and make your way back to your resort for a swim, a nap, whatever. Then around 3 you can head back, or to a different park if you like. Dinner reservations could be made at DownTown Disney (so have no bearing on what park you are at) if you have a 5-6ish PS you can still make it to a park for fireworks after dinner.

Just remember- the planning should be FUN!!!!!!!

:confused3 I am in the early stages of making my plans for 2006 and trying to get an idea how things will be in may because my plans are for that month of 06.
I been to wdw 4 times and every one , i was there on the 4th, (july) but with all the research i do before i never have a problem with the crowds even without fastpass and now with it , it was great.
Now this time i changed from my norm and am trying to get an idea for times when you get back drop me a line and let know what the times are around that time of month.
