On our trip to WDW last year, we bought 5 day hopper passes. 2 of the days we park hopped but didn't get our hands stamped. We should have 2 days left on these for our upcoming trip in June. We didn't have to get our hands stamped to go to 2 differents did we? I was under the impression you only needed to get your hands stamped if you were returning to the same park. Can someone PLEASE put my mind at ease :teeth:
Thanks,
Christine

The only issue is, 'How many different days did you enter any park?'. You started out with 5 days. If you go to MK and hop to MGM the same day, that's one day down. Next day, if you go to Epcot and stay there all day, that's another day shot. Hop or not, you enter a park, you've burned a day. The hand stamp is necessary to get back in the same park OR to hop to another. They've been pretty lax about checking under the light in the past, but that's the rule. If you used the passes on 5 different days, they're done, unless they were Hopper Plus, in which case you might have a visit or two to PI or a waterpark left.

Thanks for your reply Bill,

Here's what we did:

1st Day: We went to Epcot during the day and Park hopped over to MGM at night.

2nd Day: We were at MK all day.

3rd Day: We were at AK during the day and then Park hopped to MGM at night.

So we park hopped 2 days but never got our hands stamped. I'm hoping we still have 2 days left to use. Do you guys agree?

Thanks :)

You had 5, you used 3, you've got 2 left. As mentioned, the hand stamp is to keep you from going to a park, say MK, leaving, and giving the pass to someone else to use. They don't always closely check your hand on re-entry. Each pass has a 'history' recorded in the WDW computer system. A CM can tell if a pass was used more than once in a day and may require you to show the hand stamp. If you're hopping or returning, get the stamp! Enjoy your trip.
