Looking at the return times - it seems like park hopping may have just gotten far more valuable. If I were to go to MK one day and Epcot the next, I would be eligible to use LL for each ride in those parks once. If I were to do both park for a half day each day - I could use LL for each ride twice in the same period.
Obviously - this is far more effective when the return times are short but most return times were between 15 - 90 minutes away for much of the day even for fairly popular rides so you can theoretically get a lot of value. You may not be able to work Slinky Dog in like this but seems like hopping can offer some good options particularly if you're looking to target a handful of rides in each park.
