Park hopping after 2pm..

If you leave one park to hop to another will you be allowed in even if the next park is in the yellow on the reservation calendar? Going around Easter and assume it will be a busy time and want to make sure the hopper will be worth it to me. Thoughts?

Hopping is subject to capacity. So if the park is booked you won't be able to hop to it. You will be able to leave your reservation park and come back to it even if it's at capacity (hope that makes sense)

Wondering if this has happened since park hopping began in January? We were there the first week of January and it was pretty crowded but had no problem hopping, even the first day of Festival of the Arts.

My wife and I were at WDW over the Martin Luther King Holiday and had no problem park hopping even though the parks seemed pretty busy.

I was also there the weekend of MLK and week following. We hopped every day. I never called the number, just showed up at the different parks. We had a car so mostly drove in between parks. At the toll booth, they sometimes asked if we had been at our reserved park already, but we were never turned away (we always went to reserved park first).

I have not heard of any day since 1/1 that did not have all 4 parks available for hopping.

I think the real test will be Feb break when some parks are completely booked for APs and resort guests. I plan to call the hotline to see what’s available to hop to!

Your reservation would be for EPCOT. No reservation gets made for subsequent parks.

You must go to your reserved park first.

You don't.

You can only make one park reservation per day. You will have to make that for Epcot.

You will be able to hop to MK after 2:00.

oh i know, i am wondering about BEFORE 2pm though. I get why not at HS, but why not at Epcot, esp since it opens too late? Just wondering if it's a hard and fast rule anywhere but HS.

Yes the rule is 2pm. But reports that you can get in a few minutes early. But not noon.

What I’m more concerned with is Blizzard Beach reopening. Other than that I am grossly out of shape, and will look horrible in a swimsuit, will they be making people wear masks in a water park?

we are all in pandemic shape right now lol. But they just released some masking policies for BB. Basically, in certain areas of the park, you need one, but they're not gonna make you wear one in the pool.
