Park Hoppers: All or Nothing?

I am just wondering if anyone can tell me - am I able to add hoppers to, say, one or two days of my trip? Would I have to add it to the tail end after I have used up my other days or could I do it smack dab in the middle? Or is it an all or nothing kind of thing?

Even if you wait until the last day of your tickets to add it, it's exactly the same price as if you'd added it on day one. The only way to have PH on only some days is to have separate tickets, and that costs even more.

To be clear, if you're not sure if you want hoppers you can wait until you get there and upgrade at any point. You don't have to do it upfront. But as others have said the hopper add on is a set price for your ticket so waiting does not reduce it. The only reason not to do it immediately is if you're not sure if you're going to want them and don't want to pay until that has become clear.
