Park Hopper Plus Question

I feel like I should know the answer to this, but I want to bounce this off someone else as we've never done this exactly like this before.

We are planning on buying a 6 day PHP pass and using 3 days this year, and 3 days next. The 6 day pass includes 3 visits to the water parks, PI, or WWoS. So here's my question: Say we go to Blizzard Beach only on one day (no theme parks) and spend the rest of the day at the hotel. Does that count as one of our 6 days or only one of our 3 "extra's"?

That would only count as a "plus" day. You would still have 6 days in the parks or however many you had before the plus was used. In a sense, a 6 day PHP can be used for 9 nine days. Six in the parks and 3 in water parks, PI or WWoS.

It does NOT count towards one of your 6 days, it is one of your plus options, and you will have two plus options left. We do this very thing all of the time, we typicaly get the 7 day PHP. The proplem is managing what you have left on your passes after you trip.
