I know this is the Universal board (please don't move this thread) but, since I might get a better answer from the dark side crowd I'm going to ask.

We have got 3 / 1 day free hopper passes to Disney parks and would like to have input on which 2 parks we should hop? My gut is telling me MK in the morn then monorail to Epcot for the rest of the day. What are your thoughts? On a side note we have been plenty but alway try to do all 4 in 2 days, but with the free tickets I'm having a hard time.

BTW: We leave tomorrow for RPR for 9 days. So this might happen on Monday. :thumbsup2

I would do it the way you said. MK and EPCOT. However, I don't know the crowds this time of year. Maybe also ask on The Theme Park Board.

Have a great vacation - it's finally here! Wooo Hooo. Have something at the Bula Bar for me. Enjoy that suite.:goodvibes

after saturday, mondays are the busiest at the MK.
if you go at rope drop, you could get about 2, maybe 3 hours in only, before the crowds.

peeps that don't have hoppers will flock to MK on mondays due to it being an EMH night.
some come at opening and stay to late night closing.

many families travel sunday to sunday and hit the MK for the first park of their stay.

i would hit mgm/dhs at rope drop and then do the bus, boat or walk or drive to epcot for the noontime thru the time you are there.
but then, you would have to get back to dhs for your car at the end of the night.
driving is better and quicker in the long run is you do a dhs/epcot day.

epcot is larger and crowds spread out more except for rides that are a can't miss.

sunday nights are EMH for dhs. the rule of thumb is go on the day after a EMH night at a park.
thus, doing dhs on monday would make that park not as crowded.
epcot could be fine also as Tuesday is the emh for that park.

ask yourself what are the rides at each park that you enjoy doing and let that be your guide on which parks to hit.

you'll have a car so park hopping shouldn't be an issue if you drop MK for dhs.

i do the motherland each year for 8 days before i move to the darkside.
what i said above is how i manage what days to do the parks.

Thanks.:goodvibes

We just finished packing and going to bed. I guess we have a few days to figure it out. We would start at rope drop at any of the parks. We will see.:thumbsup2

What are you looking to do? Rides? Shows?

Magic Kingdom is probably a given but if you're thrillseeking, I'd start out at DHS, grabbing a fastpass for Toy Story. Start at Animal Kingdom for shows then perhaps move to DHS. Start at MK/DHS and move to Epcot if you really want to experience the World Showcase. But if you just want to ride stuff in general, I'd advise DHS/MK in that order since the Toy Story fastpass is so important Test Track being down at Epcot is a total bummer, and I'd easily put DHS' collection of rides over AK's. Your call though.

just stopped by to tuck you and the family into bed.

next wake up you have will be the start of your vacation.

have a great trip and have lots of fun Bluer!!

Thanks Mac. Just got up and getting ready. Just installed the new DIS app. This makes it nice now on the go. Just in time.

We arrived about 1 hour ago and our suite was ready. We found out we are on a VIP list here at RPR. Anything we need they said call. How sweet.

Waiting for the boat to Citywalk for lunch. Later.

Have fun Bluer101 and give us lots of reports!!!

I'd do MK and HS.

Just got done eating at Confisco. It was good. Sorry folks that are not with us.

Have a fun time! We're about two weeks behind you.

I'd do DHS then EPCOT. It's tough though because BTMRR just re-opened.

I like RnR and ToT more.

If you have not seen it check out the update to the Lights, Motors, Action :thumbsup2 Have you been on the new Star Tours?

I would have to prioritize my fav rides then choose. :confused3

We might hold the tickets till this fall or slower season. It's just so hot and don't feel like going. We are happy as usual just hanging out here.

Yeah...I don't care what anyone says...the heat and humidity in this area is terrible in the summer months...which is why I don't venture into the parks in the summer.

Glad you're having a good time so far! :thumbsup2
