Park bag

I use a crossbody. Either a LeSportsac or Dooney. I hate the idea of having to constantly take a backpack off for a ride, water, snack, wallet, etc. I mainly only carry a water bottle, wallet, phone, and back up batteries.

The only bag I used to carry was my camera bag that had a long strap. It was not large enough to carry much more than my cameras. I just recently bought a water proof camera back pack. It will hold my cameras and enough space to carry other things. The only things I know for sure that will be in there besides the cameras is, ponchos, wet wipes, sunscreen, chap stick, gum, tooth brush and paste(I hate not brushing my teeth after I eat) band aids, zip lock bags, and my wallet and cell phone. I'm sure I will have some other things too.

My tip, I bought a few mini travel inside your clothes money belts. I put them under my shirt or dress, I can pop my phone, wallet stuff, even a protein bar and a small battery back up and cord and a sunscreen stick and ChapStick. Boom. No visible bag, nothing to stow, and whiz right thru the bag check. I have been burned in that line!!

I actually picked up one of these yesterday. It has two zipper pouches and when I got home I tested to see if a disposable poncho fits and it does. I think my cell phone will fit in the smaller pocket so I'm going to test it on my trip in Sept. I usually carry a refillable water bottle attached to whatever bag I happen to be carrying but I found this on line yesterday

I use a Travelon anti theft cross body bag. I like it better than backpacks because it is more convenient for me to grab something as I'm walking (not having to stop to take an item out), and it's easy to get in and out of rides. I push it over onto the seat as I sit down and then just get up when the ride is over.
I carry: ID, $, credit card (all of which are in their own pocket and RFID protected), small sunscreen, chapstick, motrin, phone, glass case, keys, tiny bandaid antifriction block stick, and park map. It also has a collapsible water bottle holder, which I sometimes use for water or I stick a small umbrella in it.

I just bought a LeSportsac cross body bag. I needed a larger bag and didn't want my Dooney crossbody bags to get ruined. We are going for 10 days to WDW and USF. I think it will work great. I really love my Dooney crossbody bags for one day touring.

Can anyone recommend a good cell phone case that they use in the park? I have a new IPhone. LOVE the pics it takes but now I'm worried about it getting wet or the humidity being a problem.

My daughter uses her LifeProof case for her iPhone when she thinks it will get wet.

I second the LifeProof cases. I use mine all the time. You'll want to test the waterproof ability before you actually put it on your phone. I've taken my phone to a water park with this case on and no issues.

My hubby carries a backpack and I carry a VB crossbody. My husband carries ponchos, sunscreen, waters and such. I carry a small wallet, lip products, epi pen, Tylenol, Advil. Things like that.

Last year we used my great big diaper bag for everything. Way too much stuff!

This year, I bought DD a Minnie Mouse back pack (from the Disney store) and that will go in the basket in her stroller with just her things. I will have my VB cross body hipster and my mom will have something similar. The last thing I want to do is be carrying a backpack around.

I've tried boys shorts and even smaller mens but my problem is they don't have a waist and hips, they are just straight. Unfortunately, I'm not straight, mama got hips.

Did you ever consider scrub pants? They come in all different colors and lengths, and they have cargo styles! I worked in a hospital before and I could stuff sooo much stuff in all those pockets. It was impressive! And good scrub pants with a ton of pockets are usually less than $20!

Interesting, we have a number of medical clothes shops here so I'll have to look. I have a number of good old fashioned blue scrubs with the tie waste that my aunt got when she was a nurse but have never seen any short length or any with pockets.

Hikpro waterproof backpack (it folds very compact for the suitcase if you don't wanna take it on the plane). 2 frozen Water bottles in insulated carriers to catch condensation (fit in the sides), sunscreen, 02 cool caribiner cooling fan, frogg togg towels in ziploc bag (2 cut in half for the 4 of us), cell phones in outer pocket, hand sanitizer, Motrin, ponchos, kleenexes, feminine products in a ziploc bag (just in case!), snacks, sandwiches (it gets lighter throughout the day and I make DH carry it, lol)
We also take a cinch sac for our pin lanyards (too heavy to wear), autograph books, penny presser supplies (little container with quarters and pennies ready to go), and flip flops for my girls if their sneakers get wet - they don't like Teva's

I used to wear these all the time...I had them in a ton of different colors and they are sooo comfy and depending on the shirt you wear with them, no one can tell they are scrub pants!
