Park admission/MNSSHP

I'm fairly certain I know the answer to this, but I wanted to confirm. I'm working on my touring plan for October. We do not buy the park hopper. If I go to Animal Kingdom on Sunday the 3rd, can I then show up at MK at 7 for the MNSSHP without needing separate park admission? Will the party ticket be enough to let me in? Thanks.

FYI you can get in with a party ticket at 4. However we toured AK last year, then went to the party, and we felt we would have preferred the whole day at MK. This year we will spend the day at MK and stay for the Halloween party.

That's a good question! I've always had a park hopper for the party. I would imagine you would have to have a regualar park ticket plus the MNSSHP ticket since it is a "hard" event ticket. Can anyone else confirm that?

Any party ticket allows you to enter the park for the party. No other ticket entitlements are necessary.

No, you just need the party ticket to attend the party =) You can enter MK with the party ticket alone starting at 4pm (at least, you always could in previous years.)

I agree. MK tends to not be as crowded during the days of the party as well. Something to think about. I'll be there on 9/15. Have a blast!

You do not need park admission for the party, just the party ticket. You could show up with no theme park ticket at all and get in at 4 pm with just your MNSSHP ticket.

Great. We did MNSSHP year before last and didn't do it last year. As such I went to MK on a non-party day, and OH THE CROWDS. There are some mistakes you don't make twice. So this year I think we're going to the party after a day at AK, will stay till they shut it down, then go back a few days later on a party day. I know we'll have to leave early the second time, but that's our last day so it'll give us time to go back and pack. Right now I'm trying to decide if I want to go back to MK on departure morning or do a character breakfast. Hopefully I can get in all the MK we need during the party hours and the other day we will spend there.

Having a Hopper is not necessary.

I know it's not necessary, but we have always park hopped. I was stating that I wasn't sure because we have always PHed.
