Parents' 40th Wedding Anniversary

We are heading to the WL next week and celebrating my mom and dad's 40th wedding anniversary. I have ordered a gift basket to be sent to the room, but I'm looking for more idea/suggestions.

I was thinking Mickey and Minne Bride and Groom Ears....a custom cake...

But how do you go about doing "bigger things?" For example, is there a way to contact someone about having them be chosen as Parade Marshalls or something like that?

Any suggestions or ideas? I'm not looking for freebies....just ideas that are a bit original or unique.

I did the illuminations cruise for my parents. They loved it and it was one of the highlights of their trip.
