I was wondering if anyone who had done this had been split up from a family member? I am assuming that they run these tandem (believe I saw a weight limit of 375 lbs.). I booked my DD8 and I for the first one and if there is a chance that they would split us up, then I am going to cancel. And just so it's clear, we are nowhere near the 375 lb weight limit :rotfl2: .

They will not put you into different boats.

  • Minimum weight 90 lbs., maximum weight 375 lbs.
  • Single rides are not guaranteed. At the Captain's discretion, Guests may be required to fly tandem depending on weather conditions. For safety reasons, the Captain's decision is final.
  • For Guests wishing to ride tandem, the combined weight cannot exceed 375 lbs.
  • Children under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult 18 or older.

DH and I did it on our last cruise and had a blast. They seemed to be very thorough in checking the harness and everything. Just be warned- they 'dipped' us unexpectedly into the ocean and scared the life out of me! (not to mention it was COLD!!). Tell them ahead of time if that will freak you and/or your child out!!
