My wife just returned from a day-trip to the Magic Kingdom and while she and our dd were waiting in line they got to talking with an older gentleman who works part-time at WDW. Long story short - she mentioned our recent trip to the Boardwalk (no kids, but that's a different story) and how much we loved it there. He asked if we had seen the ghost and then proceeded to tell her about a ghost of a little girl who has appeared on the third floor to several guests and cast-members.

I'm not a big believer in ghosts and all that, but I figured that if anyone would know about things like this, it would be the folks here! Has anyone ever heard or seen anything "paranormal" at BWV or anywhere else at Disney -- not including the Haunted Mansion :) ?

Probably it is just a young miss wandering the "endless" halls of BWV. Apparently, to some, that can seem like an eternity in itself.

methinks someone watched the shining a few many times....
out of curiousity, did he mention redrum, and/or that the bartender in belle vue lounge goes by the name of "lloyd"? ;)

Hehehe! That's what I thought at first too.

the only paranormal activity i have seen at Walt Disney World is that money magically disappears out of my wallet. Seriously.

I guess it is possible, the millions and millions of people that have gone though WDW over the years...

...hmmm I wonder if the older gentleman has a WL at BWV? :lmao::lmao:

but others do. We have ghosts at home and they even travel with us. I'm not sure where they came from but when we moved into our current apartment they came with it. They went to WDW with us last year and made their presense know on a daily basis doing things like opening and closing cupboards, turning the computer off....changing channels on the tv etc. Weird but not scary. When they know no one will be home at the apartment, they travel in the car with me. We have pictures of them and even our guests hear their antics.

I actually think the BWV hallways look like the hallways in the "Outlook Hotel" in the Shining....redrum...redrum...

Can't you just hear Danny's little tricycle rolling down the hall?

(I said that to DH last time at BWV and he freaked out...the Shining really scares him )

my sis-in-law worked at Boardwalk when it first opened. According to her, many CMs have reported that the Boardwalk has some "activity." She said she's never witnessed anything, but lots of her coworkers have. We're headed down there Monday so I'll let you know if I get anything more out of her!

Honestly I could believe it of the BW, for some reason when walking the halls, I always felt like someone was following me, to the point I would turn around to speak to someone and no one would be there. :scared1:

:rotfl2: My DH and I were commenting last trip about how much the BWV halls reminded us of The Shining - funny that so many other Dis-ers had the same thoughts!

We pay dues at both so i can dis (as opposed to normal DIS'ing here) on them lol. the BWV ones are far too bright & cheery, the VWL's are a dead ringer;)
