Paradiso any good?

How is the new Paradiso restaurant in Downtown Disney?

Very good. We eat there each trip. Portions are a bit on the small side though--
We eat at the bar and the beer is as cold as advertised!!!

I've eaten there twice and very much enjoyed it both times. they were very helpful with my cardiac diet needs. Good food, good service.

I've heard that the company itself is in financial trouble - hopefully this restaurant will not disappear.

We ate there last year as a party of 10. Appetizers were quick to arrive. Entrees took about 45 minutes to 1 hour after apps arrived, and several entrees were wrong (items that were requested to be omitted weren't and items that the menu said would be on there weren't). Too hungry to argue. Not that it would have done much good since we didn't see the waitress again until the bill came.

I just wanted to let you know that it is possible to have a bad experience there.

We ate there over the 4th of July and the menu was MUCH smaller than before. None of our favorites were on it so be forewarned the menu is different. I asked and they told me it had changed a couple of weeks earlier.

Thats interesting. Is it all mexican food now? Was it good?

Not ALL Mexican--but things like the "Street Style" Hotdog have disappeared.
Also the pulled pork platter.

And the Tres Tacos - they said everything pork was off the menu now except for Ribs.
