We where there last Oct. and is was just the standard coffee pot. I wish they had the Keurigs. My favorite way to start the day

Hmm, maybe the suites are different. They weren't Keurigs, but they were single serve coffee in plastic pods, not regular coffee pots, unless I've lost my mind, which is always possible.

Nope. Your mind is still there. You described them perfectly. Unless they put new ones in this year. I'll let you know in a few weeks.

Dang it, I was hoping for the standard. Those pod ones don't seem to do it for me, I was going to bring my french press and heat the water in the standard pot. Looks like I'm out of luck :(

Sorry my mistake when you said pod I thought you where talking about a Keurig. We drink lattes useless I have my Keurig so we just bought our coffee in the park

That is the ONLY drawback about Concierge at PPH, it doesn't have extended hours like GCH, so it may take some planning. We brought baggies, refillable bottles/coffee mugs and brought food with us to eat while we waited in line for park opening....

This is what is out during the day....unlimited softdrinks and water are in a fridge under the counter....

I have a few more pictures from the late afternoon/dinner options that I can post later...

Thank you for the concierge info! How were the breakfast offerings? We usually use the CL as a place in the morning to grab coffee, cereal for the kids, and a light breakfast (fruit, muffin, or a hard boiled egg) for the adults.

I just booked our stay this morning for September 22-26th and I'm so excited. Dh and I both went to DL as kids with our families but haven't been in 20+ years (eeek). We've been to DW many times as we are originally from the East coast but have moved to Texas in the past year so we'll be much closer to DL.

DH is military so we took advantage of the military discount for the hotel room but they only had a "premium" view room available. Does anyone know what exactly that means. On the DL website under the booking section it gave me options of a standard room or a theme park room but not a premium view. I'm assuming it is a different room than a theme park view, right?

Thanks for any insight you can offer!

I am staying at PPH at the end of May, is the patio view extra or is it just something we can request and hope to get it?

The cabana rooms are concierge standard.

I am thinking of staying here in September. Is the firework viewing only for CL or can all gusts watch them?

The fireworks viewing is from the pool area and has nothing to do with CL.

Can you see them pretty good from the pool? The noise scares my daughter so I think we might just watch them from the pool instead of the park.

If the noise scares her this would be a good option. I wouldn't call it a "good" view, but it is better than having a scared child or in my case a grumpy DH from fighting a bad crowd.

I heard a rumor that sometimes characters hang out in the lobby of each of the Resort Hotels, has anyone ever seen any at PPH? Is that something the front desk would know? thanks

I suspect that is fairly uncommon. I've stayed a week at GCH and a week at PPH and I've never seen them just wandering around. The only time I saw characters out was on Halloween at a photo op set up for hotel guests at GCH.

I understand characters DO hang out at DLH in the lobby (maybe at certain times?) but I haven't seen them, or heard about it, at PPH

We ran into Mickey a couple times right outside the Surf's Up restaurant at PPH....DH took this in the lobby of the restaurant while I was busy doing check-in...

How big are the fridges in the rooms? I assume they are mini-fridges, but can a half gallon of milk fit inside? Cereal is a must for my kids plus it would be a quick and easy breakfast for them.

It isn't uncommon for characters to be seen in the lobbies; DLH in particular. Our first stay 2 years ago, we turned a corner to the gift shop, and literally bumped right into Goofy! I gasped : ) Not a sole was around him, and we had him all to ourselves - it was quite an awesome moment.

They are mini fridges; you can fit a half gallon of milk on its side - just seal it well to prevent leaking.
