Paradise Pier or HoJo?

We are headed to DL in September. We went last September and stayed GCH in a one-bedroom suite with a Theme Park view. Yes, we got totally and completely spoiled. But, we didn't think we'd be making a trip again for quite awhile.

So, things have changed and we are headed back to DL with our DS4 and DD2. But, this time taking all of the grandparents. We could do GCH again and just stay in a standard room. My MIL just called and wanted to know if we would stay at Paradise Pier. However, I'm wondering if PPH is worth the money? We were also considering HoJo or even Candy Cane Inn. We really want the convenience of a close walk to the park. And, we've heard PPH is more of a hike than HoJo or CCI.

Does anyone have any experience with these hotels? How do the HoJo rooms compare with PPH and CCI? How about the walk from PPH v. HoJo or CCI??

We have stayed at PPH and Hojo's several times and if $$$ isn't an issue, I prefer to stay at PPH.

In my opinion, the walk to each hotel seems about the same length and if you can catch the monorail back, then the walk to PPH is a tad bit shorter..

The rooms at the PPH are newer, a little bigger and you have 2 queen beds plus a couch that folds out into a twin sized bed. Plus if you stay on-site, you get early entry...

I too would pick the PPH if money were not a concern. It's as much of a walk as the others but if you take the monorail you can almost cut the walk in half. If money is a concern we really like the Candy Cane Inn. The walk is easy, the rooms are comfy (if not a tad small) and there are two convenience stores right next to the hotel.
