Hi

I was wondering if anyone knew what time the parades are. We are going in August and I want to make a few dinner reservations. I dont want to be having dinner at peak lunch time but also dont want to miss any parades.

In MK the day time parade is 3pm and at Studios its 4pm.

Also should I be sitting and waiting for the parade at Main Street an hour before it starts? I want my children to get good views of the parade.

Thanks
:thumbsup2

don't bother with main street or the hub near the castle it gets rammed - there are some good concrete benches near fantasy land - to the side of the castle -i think these seats are for the shows in front of the castle but people use them to watch the parade also.
the parade was at 4pm - if i remember correctly.
i got there about 20 mins before hand but i imagine in august you will need to get there a bit earlier.

the studio parade was at 1.30pm and we stood near the start of the parade - i think near cine magic - again the main hub gets too busy.

have fun :cool1:

The parades have different times during the high season.

The Princess parade at Disneyland park is on at 7.15pm
Fantillusion is on at 11.30pm

At the studios--The good morning parade is on at 10am and the main parade is on at 5pm

I have never been in august however when we were there last week people began waiting about an hour before.

Hi

Thanks for the advice. I will make my reservations at 1:00pm. Allow us enough time.

Cant wait not long to go I wish time would pass quickly. Days are dragging now.

We were there last August and people began staking out their spots an hour beforehand in Disneyland park. The Studios doesn't get so busy, you will probably be safe to leave it until a bit nearer the parade starting there.

Good plan :thumbsup2

I found that for the best photographs the corner of Main St near to City Hall is a good spot. I did enjoy having a sit down on the castle stage seats though. It made waiting for the parade seem a bit less of an endurance test. They roped off the first row of seats when I was there though so you might want to perch on the second row or risk having to move and not getting a good view at all.

The front 2 rows of the castle seating are reserved for children, (not families)but once the CM's remove the "reserved signs", just before the parade starts it's a free for all. My advice sit in row 3 and if you get the chance move forward, if not you'll have a good view anyway. :goodvibes
