Parade Grand Marshall

Is there any way I can get my girls (ages 9,5) in any of the parades. We are going Dec 11-21. (Going to MVMCP on Dec 18) I thought I read on the board somewhere about a family being selected to be Grand Marshalls.

Families are selected but it is totally random and luck of the draw. There isn't anything you can really do to guarantee something like this.

No, it can't be guaranteed, but if you get there early and look like you are having fun, it increases the chances for some disney magic.

My sister, brother and I were chosen, 3 adults, who would have thought?! We had a blast doing it. I was enjoying the Dapper Dans singing so much. Who else can sing "How much do you weigh?" as part of the birthday song and get a laugh from a 40 year old woman? The CM who does the picking was informed by the Dapper Dans that if he didn't pick us, he was making a mistake. The rest of the day was so fun!

They are picked randomly we were picked in june just my hubby and me to grand marshalls.

My brother, his wife, daughter, and his wife's parents were picked in June. It just so happen to be my niece's 13th birthday! It was random. I would love to be able to do that on my birthday.
