For the first time we just purchased UPH Plus tickets for an upcoming visit. They were supplied to us on a paper stock (with a mag stripe on back). I thought they would be on plastic.

My question is: Will guest services swap those over to be plastic tickets? I dont like the idea of the paper tickets since we will be going to water parks.

Thanks.

Sorry - I meant Park Hopper Plus (not Ultimate Park Hopper Plus).

Unfortuantely, no.

If you're staying at a disney resort, you'd have to purchase the tickets at checkin to have them encoded onto your room key.

If you're not staying at a Disney resort, there's no way at ALL to get the credit card-type admission.

I am staying at a WDW resort - I just bought them ahead of time (as I could save money).

Even though they look like paper, they are really a very thin plasticized paper (someone who knew for sure said Kevlar once). They are much more durable than they appear.

If you're at all worried about losing or damaging the tickets (i.e. put through washer), one tip I have is to photo copy the back side of the tickets (the white side with numbers and stuff) before you leave for WDW. If you bring the photo copy and your reciept to any Guest Relations, they should have no problem reprinting those tickets for you.

I thought only APs come in paper. We bought some PHs at the Disney store last month for my inlaws and they were plastic.
Have they changed?
